Cinco de Mayo Celebration and Resource Fair

Greetings from Eastern Washington University's Chicano Education Program. EWU's Chicano Education Program is honored in hosting this event designed to attract Latino parents and students to participate in a one-day college informational and resource fair (Chicano Cultural Day).

The event will take place on:

Date: May 2, 2018

Location:  In the campus mall. (In case of inclement weather the event will be held in the PUB MPR)

We encourage you to investigate potential programs that could provide means of transportation, which would encourage parent and student participation.  Some suggestions are the school districts, Gear Up Programs, PAC groups, Migrant Education, TRIO Programs, and local community agencies.

If you are interested in having lunch on our campus, please contact Tom Shaffer to make arrangements with our on campus dinning services he can be reached at email: phone: 509.359.6857.

We look forward to your participation at this event.  Attached is a tentative agenda and registration form.  If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at 509.359.2404
